USC Pre-Master’s Program

School Introduction

The University of Southern California (USC), founded in 1880, is a globally leading private research university and one of the most diverse institutions in the United States. It boasts the nation’s #1 ranked Film School, #1 Gerontology School, #3 Public Policy School, and #10 Engineering School.

The University Park campus is located within walking distance of iconic South Los Angeles landmarks. Program Details

The USC Pre-Master’s program is designed to improve students’ English proficiency and academic abilities to meet graduate-level course requirements. Students learn to read and critically evaluate academic articles, expand graduate-level vocabulary, and improve GRE/GMAT test-taking strategies to achieve ideal scores required for master’s degree programs.

Program Schedule

• Spring semester: January–April
• Summer semester: April–July
• Fall semester: September–December
